Ring Sarasota Celebrates Hometown for Ninth Season
For our 9th season, we present “Celebrate Sarasota”
Pristine white-sandy beaches, breathtaking sunsets, theater, concerts, ballet, opera, diverse dining, galleries, museums, the circus, spectator and participant sporting events …. That’s Sarasota County, often referred to as “Florida’s Cultural Coast!” Join Ring Sarasota in our 9th season as we present “Celebrate Sarasota,” a collection of songs highlighting the diverse culture that makes Sarasota unique.
Listen as the crowd roars as they root for their favorite Spring training team with “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” Imagine hearing the calliope resounding as the circus rolls into town with “Barnum & Bailey’s Favorite.” Enjoy a visit to the theatre with vibrant renditions of “Overture to Carmen,” “Festive Dance,” and a new rendition of “Bring Him Home” (penned by a local composer). Remembering our friends who work endlessly to maintain the beauty of our natural resources, we offer “Under the Sea” and “Walk in the Park.” Enjoy a beautiful sunset and a romantic stroll down one of our sandy beaches with “Love Will Keep Us Together”. And, as with all Ring Sarasota concerts, we pay tribute to this great nation with a vibrate and stirring “America the Beautiful!”
