Ring Sarasota is excited to offer an opportunity for handbell choirs to get a jumpstart on their Christmas programs!
The holiday season can be hectic, so let us help! Ring Sarasota is offering a 1-day workshop for handbell choirs to work on music for December. All selections will be easily accessible for any choir, no matter the size or experience. After working through the pieces, the ringers will participate in a public performance of the music, to boost their confidence and get audience members in the Christmas spirit. Any ringer is welcome and encouraged to participate – individuals and groups are welcome to sign-up! Lunch will be provided and there will be a Public performance at 3 pm.
All music, selected in advance, will be Level 1-2, and will be appropriate for any time during the advent season or on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Attendees will need to purchase music ahead of time, but no advance preparation is required.
The cost to participate is $15 per person, with a maximum of $120 for groups of eight or more. Scholarship opportunities are available through Ring Sarasota.
